Digital transformation for Net zero

The story of 2020 has unfolded in ways we would never have imagined, affecting almost every aspect of work and life. I believe that ten years from now, one positive thing the year will be remembered for is how the concept of Net Zero became a mainstream activity that reshaped the economy. The pivotal shift that has made this more sustainable future possible is the rapid acceleration of digital.

The magnitude of the challenges facing the planet and the potential for human agency to make a difference has left a lasting impression on business leaders. Whether flattening the Covid curve or reducing carbon emissions, our future feels more in our hands than ever before.

youth voices for climate action

Climate change is here, and the KIDsforSDGs community knows it! As its impact intensifies over time, it is the children and young people of today who will face the worst effects. Far from being passive victims, young people all over the world have begun to fight back on a scale never seen before. Whether through education, technology, science or law ─ young people far and wide are tapping into their skills to speak up for climate action.

At APCW 2021, it is paramount that youth voices are showcased, and we are honoured to spotlight three youth speakers - Ms. Megan Hsu, Mr. Jason Qiu and Mr. Alexander Zhang!
